Majors and Minors

When it comes to majors, Centre offers real benefits. Since we encourage self-designed majors, your choices are virtually unlimited. (Examples of recent student-designed majors include design and culture, social justice studies, religion and the performing arts, and public policy.)

You may also choose to complete a double major during your four years at Centre. Multiple majors make you more attractive to employers and increase career options for the future.

Visit Centre

A visit usually includes a tour of campus and an information session with an admission counselor. Additional appointments may also be available. For more information, please e-mail us at admission@centre.edu.

How to Plan Your Visit

It's really easy to schedule your visit. Let us know when you want to come, and we'll do the rest. Here are four things to keep in mind when you're making plans:

  1. Plan ahead a little bit. One week’s notice will give us time to arrange the details of your visit.
  2. Count on being here at least a half-day—it's best to arrive in the early morning or early afternoon.
  3. Dress comfortably—conversations andappointments will be informal, so you can wear what you normally wear to school.
  4. You can visit with your parents or alone, but we do, of course, encourage parents to come for the visit.
